Agility

More than anything agility is a lot of fun for both dog and handler. As an added benefit it increases mutual understanding between you and your dog; the focus is very much on your dog reading your body language and you learning how to use body language to tell your dog where to go and what to do. As such agility is much more than "just a game".

If your dog understands the basics, such as "come", "sit" and "stay" agility is a great next step in establishing a good relationship between you and your dog.

At "On the Trail" we teach agility based on these principles, always keeping the dogs natural abilities and limitations in mind. Every healthy dog can do agility, from toy to giant, and every dog - depending on their and their handlers' ability - can compete and excel in this sport. Further, We teach in some of the most inspiring surroundings imaginable.

Next to our weekly classes, agility is also incorporated into our weekend and week-long retreats, where we focus on agility as only one part of the total, holistic approach in our relationships with our animals.
